This artwork by Aubrey Vincent Beardsley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2015. In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Réjane sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 49,349.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aubrey Vincent Beardsley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Design For The Front And First Page Of The Savoy Or Woman Fondling Grapes in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Aubrey Vincent Beardsley erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit Réjane für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 49.349,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aubrey Vincent Beardsley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Design For The Front And First Page Of The Savoy Or Woman Fondling Grapes im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
