This artwork by Atsuko Tanaka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) Including a Selection of Japanese Woodblock Prints from Private Collections auction, the work without title sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,612.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsuko Tanaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 12,700,000.00 (€ 1,499,054.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Atsuko Tanaka erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) Including a Selection of Japanese Woodblock Prints from Private Collections wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.612,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsuko Tanaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.700.000,00 (€ 1.499.054,61).
