Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Min vän Tom Böttiger 6 sept 2014" by Astrid Sylwan was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,500.00 (€ 550.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Astrid Sylwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2021 with an auction result of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,833.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Min vän Tom Böttiger 6 sept 2014" von Astrid Sylwan im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.500,00 (€ 550,48) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Astrid Sylwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.833,75).
