Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage aux deux coupoles by Assadour was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2012. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,448.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Assadour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanese la Ville (The Town) in April 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 41,544.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage aux deux coupoles von Assadour wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.448,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Assadour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanese la Ville (The Town) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 41.544,66).
