Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art/ Middle East, which included the work Lebanese untitled by Assadour. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,164.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Assadour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanese la Ville (The Town) in April 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 41,544.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lebanese untitled von Assadour zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.164,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Assadour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanese la Ville (The Town) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 41.544,66).
