The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ascan Lutteroth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roma, l'Appia Antica alla tomba di Cecilia Metella, 1876; e Roma, il Convento di San Bonaventura al Palatino, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 6,200.00.
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Küste beim Castello di Baia am Golf von Pozzuoli von Ascan Lutteroth kam im Mai 2015 bei Ketterer in München zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ascan Lutteroth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roma, l'Appia Antica alla tomba di Cecilia Metella, 1876; e Roma, il Convento di San Bonaventura al Palatino beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für EUR 6.200,00 versteigert wurde.
