Auction result well in line with expectations
The work S.Maria al Naviglio, Vecchia Milano by Arturo Ferrari was sold in the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 330.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 320.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Ferrari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milano che scompare, 1911 in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 29,760.00.
