Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work La fiera nei giorni feriali. Verso Natale a Sant'Ambrogio (Casa parrocchiale) by Arturo Ferrari was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Ferrari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milano che scompare, 1911 in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 29,760.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit La fiera nei giorni feriali. Verso Natale a Sant'Ambrogio (Casa parrocchiale) von Arturo Ferrari im November 2020 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Ferrari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Milano che scompare, 1911 im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 29.760,00.
