Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Senza titolo by Arturo Carmassi was worth EUR 12,400.00 to a buyer in May 2003. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA at Christies in Milan and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arturo Carmassi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Omaggio a Harunobu sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of EUR 18,000.00.
