Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Paintings, which included the work A Street In The Old Quarter of Granada, Spain by Arthur Trevor Haddon. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,410.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Trevor Haddon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day before the City Walls in Rabat in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,354.32).

Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Street In The Old Quarter of Granada, Spain von Arthur Trevor Haddon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.410,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Trevor Haddon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Day before the City Walls in Rabat im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.354,32).
