In January 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work At The Well by Arthur Trevor Haddon. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,810.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Trevor Haddon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day before the City Walls in Rabat in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,354.32).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Well von Arthur Trevor Haddon zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.810,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Trevor Haddon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Day before the City Walls in Rabat im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.354,32).
