Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book, which included the work The River Taw, Dartmoor by Arthur Suker. The price achieved of GBP 358.50 (€ 507.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Other works by Arthur Suker have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2002 the work The River Taw, Belstone Marsh, Dartmoor, Devon was auctioned for GBP 411.25 (€ 672.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours including Original Book durch, in der auch die Arbeit The River Taw, Dartmoor von Arthur Suker zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 358,50 (€ 507,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur Suker konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2002 die Arbeit The River Taw, Belstone Marsh, Dartmoor, Devon für GBP 411,25 (€ 672,29) versteigert.
