Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Oat Harvest by Arthur Streeton was sold in the The Ken and Rona Eastaugh Collection auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in May 2009. The price achieved of AUD 114,000.00 (€ 64,505.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Streeton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Melba'S Country, which sold at auction in November 2009 for AUD 312,000.00 (€ 190,250.50).

Die Arbeit Australian Oat Harvest von Arthur Streeton wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion The Ken and Rona Eastaugh Collection bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 114.000,00 (€ 64.505,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
