In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work A view of the Pont Neuf, Paris, with Notre-Dame beyond by Arthur Joseph Meadows. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,927.90), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Joseph Meadows - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Ducal Palace, Venice, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 16,730.00 (€ 25,877.52).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of the Pont Neuf, Paris, with Notre-Dame beyond von Arthur Joseph Meadows zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.927,90) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Joseph Meadows mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Ducal Palace, Venice beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für GBP 16.730,00 (€ 25.877,52) versteigert wurde.
