Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting, 1/97 by Arthur Jackson was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,164.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract Composition in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,845.18).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.164,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract Composition im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 82.845,18).
