Admittedly, works by Arthur Gilbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The road up Snowdon, North Wales; and Loch Maree, Scotland in March 2004 with an auction result of GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,586.27).
