Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with a bottle, glass and books on a ledge by Arthur Gerald Ackermann was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2000. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 517.50 (€ 846.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Gerald Ackermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blakeney Regatta; and High water - Overy Staithe, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 2,031.50 (€ 3,048.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with a bottle, glass and books on a ledge von Arthur Gerald Ackermann kam im Februar 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 517,50 (€ 846,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Gerald Ackermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blakeney Regatta; and High water - Overy Staithe beobachtet, die im Mai 2004 für GBP 2.031,50 (€ 3.048,00) versteigert wurde.
