Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fisherboats at dusk by Arthur Eland was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Eland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paramaribo Harbour at sunset in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 11,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fisherboats at dusk von Arthur Eland kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Eland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paramaribo Harbour at sunset im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.950,00.
