Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning Landscape, c.1965 by Arthur Boyd was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in November this year. The price achieved of AUD 52,890.00 (€ 32,069.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Boyd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Man Ploughing A Field in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 660,000.00 (€ 405,821.75).
