A top price for Arthur Alexander Ballard - as previously expected
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings, which included the work View Over The Paris Rooftops (Towards Mont Saint Victoire) by Arthur Alexander Ballard. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,405.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View Over The Paris Rooftops (Towards Mont Saint Victoire) is the most expensive artwork by Arthur Alexander Ballard that we have observed at auctions so far.
