The work Purple mountains by Artashes Abraamyan was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,120.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Artashes Abraamyan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Golden harvest sold at auction in August 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,962.92).

Die Arbeit Purple mountains von Artashes Abraamyan kam im November 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.120,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Artashes Abraamyan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Golden harvest im August 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.962,92).
