The »bidding war« ended at EUR 710.00 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arnulf Hoffmann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in February 2021 with the realized price of EUR 774.00.
