The work Portrait De Serge Lifar -1941 by Arno Breker was sold in the 20th Century Art 1900-1950 auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,040.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arno Breker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pax in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 81,250.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait De Serge Lifar -1941 von Arno Breker wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art 1900-1950 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.040,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arno Breker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pax im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 81.250,00.
