Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Storm (Fisherman on Deck) by Armin Hansen was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 14,080.00 (€ 12,907.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armin Hansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decoration in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 509,000.00 (€ 456,011.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Storm (Fisherman on Deck) von Armin Hansen wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 14.080,00 (€ 12.907,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armin Hansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Decoration im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 456.011,47).
