The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,562.50 (€ 69,120.76), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Armin Hansen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Decoration in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 509,000.00 (€ 456,011.47).

Die Arbeit Springtime (Monterey Farmhouse) von Armin Hansen wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.562,50 (€ 69.120,76) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armin Hansen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Decoration im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 456.011,47).
