Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spirit of the Rodeo by Armin Hansen was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 220,875.00 (€ 219,448.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 175,000.00 – 225,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armin Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Decoration, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 509,000.00 (€ 456,011.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spirit of the Rodeo von Armin Hansen kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 220.875,00 (€ 219.448,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 175.000,00 – 225.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Armin Hansen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Decoration beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 509.000,00 (€ 456.011,47) versteigert wurde.
