Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work October Evening by Armin Hansen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,036.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armin Hansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decoration in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 509,000.00 (€ 456,011.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit October Evening von Armin Hansen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.036,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armin Hansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Decoration im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 456.011,47).
