Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Armen Eloyan could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled - Rabbit changed hands for EUR 1,375.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armen Eloyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Day by Day, 2010 in June 2010 with an auction result of CHF 26,400.00 (€ 19,934.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Armen Eloyan konnte im Dezember 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled - Rabbit für EUR 1.375,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armen Eloyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Day by Day, 2010 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 26.400,00 (€ 19.934,78).
