Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ohne Titel (Mann Mit Calla) by Armand Bouten was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,589.74). Admittedly, works by Armand Bouten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Ladies In A Room in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 61,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Mann Mit Calla) von Armand Bouten im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.589,74) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Bouten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Ladies In A Room im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 61.500,00.
