Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Enjaillement, 2015 by Armand Boua. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,691.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armand Boua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 2016 in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 21,312.00 (€ 24,736.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Enjaillement, 2015 von Armand Boua zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.691,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Boua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 2016 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.312,00 (€ 24.736,19).
