Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art Online sale, which included the work A triptych by Armand Boua. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,269.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Armand Boua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 2016 in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 21,312.00 (€ 24,736.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A triptych von Armand Boua zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.269,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Boua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 2016 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.312,00 (€ 24.736,19).
