Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Arman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in July 2021. In the Contemporary Curated Milan auction, the work Squeezed sold for EUR 30,240.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arman erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated Milan wurde die Arbeit Squeezed für EUR 30.240,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
