Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1975 by Aristide Caillaud. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,637.00 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aristide Caillaud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Ange Rose in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1975 von Aristide Caillaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.637,00 und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aristide Caillaud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Ange Rose im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
