Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Volcanic Ash Series by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 26,742.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cmyk 8, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).

Die Arbeit Volcanic Ash Series von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 26.742,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cmyk 8 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71) versteigert wurde.
