Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Multicolour by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,082.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cmyk 8 in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Multicolour von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.082,15) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cmyk 8 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71).
