Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work 180155 - Karat Series by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 325,000.00 (€ 34,292.70), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cmyk 8, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 1,096,000.00 (€ 104,004.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 180155 - Karat Series von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 34.292,70) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arin Dwihartanto Sunaryo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cmyk 8 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 1.096.000,00 (€ 104.004,71) versteigert wurde.
