The work Strange Melody by Arie Aroch was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2011. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,124.95), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Arie Aroch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 103,657.47).

Die Arbeit Strange Melody von Arie Aroch wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.124,95) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arie Aroch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 103.657,47).
