Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marina A Forte Dei Marmi by Ardengo Soffici was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. The price achieved of EUR 36,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ardengo Soffici - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Case di Bulciano, which sold at auction in May 2010 for EUR 89,000.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 36.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ardengo Soffici mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Case di Bulciano beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für EUR 89.000,00 versteigert wurde.
