Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Archie Rand could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The Fascinators, The Admirations, The Dubs changed hands for USD 125.00 (€ 101.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Archie Rand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monte Elena in July 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,116.52).
