In May 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Arcangelo Ianelli. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 30,797.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arcangelo Ianelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tensão, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arcangelo Ianelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 30.797,66) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arcangelo Ianelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tensão beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75) versteigert wurde.
