Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Arcangelo Ianelli was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,552.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arcangelo Ianelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tensão, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arcangelo Ianelli wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.552,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arcangelo Ianelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tensão beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75) versteigert wurde.
