Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Arcangelo Ianelli was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,069.54). Admittedly, works by Arcangelo Ianelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tensão in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 62,557.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arcangelo Ianelli im April 2010 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.069,54) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arcangelo Ianelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tensão im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 62.557,75).
