Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Fisherfolk on beach by Arcadio Mas y Fondevila for GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,237.88). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Arcadio Mas y Fondevila have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Procession Before The Bridge of Sighs in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,569.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fisherfolk on beach von Arcadio Mas y Fondevila für GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.237,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arcadio Mas y Fondevila auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Procession Before The Bridge of Sighs im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.569,52).
