Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Townscape by Apostolos Tsirogiannis was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,171.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Apostolos Tsirogiannis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Athens, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,658.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.171,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Apostolos Tsirogiannis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Athens beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.658,81) versteigert wurde.
