Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moine lisant by Apostolos Geralis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Apostolos Geralis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Young Girl By The Window in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moine lisant von Apostolos Geralis kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Apostolos Geralis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Young Girl By The Window im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 47.748,82).
