Auction result well in line with expectations
The work a) Les canards du jardin National d'Athènes b) Danse triumphale des soldats grecs by Apostolos Geralis was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,825.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Apostolos Geralis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Young Girl By The Window in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82).

Die Arbeit a) Les canards du jardin National d'Athènes b) Danse triumphale des soldats grecs von Apostolos Geralis kam im Mai 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.825,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Apostolos Geralis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Young Girl By The Window im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 47.748,82).
