Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,561.44). Admittedly, works by Apostolos Geralis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Young Girl By The Window in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Greek Still Life von Apostolos Geralis wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.561,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Apostolos Geralis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Young Girl By The Window im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 47.748,82).
