Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work A moment of rest by Apostolos Geralis. The price achieved of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 5,977.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Apostolos Geralis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Young Girl By The Window in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A moment of rest von Apostolos Geralis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.355,00 (€ 5.977,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Apostolos Geralis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Young Girl By The Window im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 47.748,82).
