Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venice, A View Of The Palazzo Balbi From The Palazzo Moro Lin, Ca' Foscari At The Left by Apollonio Domenichini was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,922.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Apollonio Domenichini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 265,833.98).

Die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Palazzo Balbi From The Palazzo Moro Lin, Ca' Foscari At The Left von Apollonio Domenichini kam im Juli 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.922,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Apollonio Domenichini erzielen.
