Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Venice, A View Of The Grand Canal by Apollonio Domenichini. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,336.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Apollonio Domenichini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 265,833.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Grand Canal von Apollonio Domenichini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.336,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Apollonio Domenichini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 265.833,98).
